The name Christway Counseling is reflective of our belief in the ultimate healer, Jesus Christ. Our goal is to walk along side those who are experiencing the pain of living in a fallen world, looking to the Word of God which applies to all of life.
Some of Our Distinct Values
Truth
We believe that God’s truth, as revealed in the Bible and creation, relates to your life and problems. We will work with you to understand and apply that truth in an environment of grace.
Community
We believe that men and women were created to have a relationship with God and with each other; the majority of our problems as humans relate to the breakdown that we experience in relationships. We will work with you to connect with others as well as God.
Worship
We believe humans were all created to worship; many problems we struggle with are related to worshipping things that are not God – a person, a relationship, wealth and power, etc. We will help you to identify your misplaced worship and transfer that to worshipping the God of the universe.
Beauty
We believe that men and women have been created in God’s image and as a result are beautiful, but sin has distorted that image. We will work with you to bring understanding of your value in God’s sight and to discover the steps to being restored so you may more fully reflect his glory.
Mission
We believe that we were all put on this Earth for a purpose and that God is working in and through his people to redeem the world through Christ. We will work with you to discover what you were created to do and help you to be on mission with what God is doing in this world.
